Wonderful food with well selected, fresh, quality ingredients. Very reasonable prices and a great selection of craft beer and natural wines and the best salads you can find in the city. Cool vintage atmosphere in a cave setting frequented by both locals and foreigners. Super super recommended.

You have not been to Matera if you haven’t been here! The waiters make you feel Italian and are super friendly. They gave us so many recs while also giving the true authentic Italian vibe. Music and all! Plus the delicious food & drinks!

Very nicely decorated wine bar.We just had an aperitivo (primitivo and house wine: vicolo cieco aglianico which was great) and some salumi e formaggi.

Bruschetta classica tasted extremely fresh and rich in both colour and flavour, really nice drinks, great staff. Maurizio gave us great tips for other restaurants and bars and we came back after our dinner

Nice place in the heart of Matera surrounded by these traditional houses. If you like to drink and eat small flavored dishes (for small/light appetites) it will be perfect for you and until now very fair prices no “tourist trap” hope it will remain like that! The quality of the product were also good when we came!
